Microcap technology withstands the elements
Demand CS features iCAP™ technology, a proprietary innovation developed by Syngenta. Microcaps of multiple sizes feature a unique, dual-walled construction that helps iCAP technology protect the active ingredient, lambda-cyhalothrin, from harmful conditions such as UV temperatures and pH extremes. This sets iCAP technology apart from any other microcapsule formulation on the market.
The active ingredient is released quickly by smaller microcaps for immediate control, while larger microcaps remain intact and release the active ingredient later for longer-lasting control. A single treatment of Demand CS can release up to 10,000 microcaps per square inch of coverage, even at a low use rate.
A single microcap in iCAP technology contains two layers to protect the active ingredient from conditions that could degrade its effectiveness.
Applications to key entry areas
Demand CS can be used both indoors and outdoors with little to no odor or staining. It can also be applied to potential entry points for fall invaders, such as around window frames, screens and porches. Applying Demand CS as a surface, spot, crack-and-crevice or perimeter treatment allows for great flexibility in providing residual control of these pests for up to three months.
