Get guaranteed results against ticks with the SecureChoice Tick Assurance Program

The microcaps (in green) adhere to insects and are easily passed to other insects for thorough control.

Ticks pose a major threat to public health as notorious carriers of disease. Particularly, the tick-borne Lyme disease, the most common vector-borne disease in the United Stated is diagnosed in 476,000 people each year1.

To help manage these pests, Syngenta has developed the SecureChoice Tick Assurance Program, which incorporates Demand® CS insecticide into a treatment protocol that can provide up to 90 days of outdoor tick control around customer homes and properties.

Demand CS is powered by the active ingredient lambda-cyhalothrin with iCAP technology, in which the microcaps attach to pests’ cuticles as they crawl over treated surfaces. The active ingredient is quickly released from smaller microcaps for fast results, while larger microcaps release the active ingredient gradually over time, providing up to 90 days of control.

An independent, third-party study recently published in the Journal of Medical Entomology found that a fall application of Demand CS resulted in zero adult ticks posttreatment in the fall and early spring, as well as zero nymphs in the spring. To learn more about these findings, read this article from PCT magazine.
